Peaceful Revolution 1989/1990

This website accompanies the open-air exhibition on Berlin’s Alexanderplatz and takes visitors to the Sites of the Revolution in the formerly divided city. It presents the story prior to the revolution, the drastic changes in East German society and the route to German unity, through a wide range of photos and short texts.

programme 2010

We offer a public tour through the open-air exhibition every Saturday with contemporary witnesses. The summer season with a programme of tours for school and adult groups begins in May 2010. Please see the programme for information on which events focus on the events of 1990.
